Job summary

Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN seeks an AI/Virtual Care Nursing Leader to oversee AI-assisted documentation, governance, patient safety, and quality across nursing practice. You will design workflows, lead implementation, provide education, and evaluate programs to improve efficiency and care while maintaining privacy and standards.

The role is grant-funded and time-limited, with 30 hours per week on first shift; Indiana RN licensure and a BSN are required, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

Description

The AI/Virtual Care Nursing Leader provides nursing leadership and clinical oversight for AI-assisted documentation and virtual-care nursing initiatives across Adams Health. This role leads AI governance, patient safety and quality oversight, workflow design, implementation, education, and program evaluation to support the responsible integration of technology into nursing practice. The position works collaboratively with clinical and organizational leaders to develop technology-enabled nursing workflows that improve efficiency, access, and care delivery while maintaining patient safety, professional accountability, privacy, and quality standards.

This is a grant-funded, time-limited position dependent on continued RHTP/GROW grant funding and organizational need. Future funding is not guaranteed.

Eligible for medical coverage on your 1st day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!

Requirements:

30 hours per week - First Shift

Current, unrestricted Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or a related field preferred.

Nursing informatics or nursing leadership certification preferred.

3–5 years of nursing experience, including progressive leadership, clinical informatics, virtual nursing, digital health, quality improvement, or healthcare workflow implementation experience preferred.
