Cisco Systems, Inc is seeking a frontend engineer to develop high-quality UI for AI-powered products using modern frontend tech. You will translate complex AI capabilities into simple, intuitive interfaces and mentor peers while leading projects from technical design through production delivery.

The role emphasizes secure coding, privacy-by-design, responsible AI practices, and collaboration with product management, UX, data science, platform, and backend teams to improve usability and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience; Master’s 3+ years; PhD 0+ years.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, design systems, frontend testing frameworks, and component-driven development.
• Experience integrating UI applications with APIs, event-driven services, analytics platforms, and AI/ML services.
• Experience building AI-native or intelligent user experiences.
• Experience in frontend software engineering, UI architecture, modern web technologies, and software development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, maintainable UI software for AI-powered products.
• Translate AI capabilities into simple, intuitive user experiences that drive adoption and trust.
