Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an experienced leader to own the AI transformation portfolio, ensuring a clear view of purpose, scope, status, timing and value. You will balance risk and interdependencies while aligning sponsors and leaders on priorities and decisions.

You will build governance for investment decisions, deliver evidence-based scenarios and models, and provide executive-ready analyses to accelerate strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, strategy, economics, engineering, analytics or related field; relevant experience accepted.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 12+ years in enterprise portfolio, corporate strategy, strategic finance, investment governance, or transformation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a single, current view of the AI transformation portfolio (purpose, scope, status, timing, expected value, readiness, risks, dependencies).
• Prioritize and sequence AI reinvention projects based on strategic importance, value, readiness, risk, dependencies, and organizational capacity.
• Design and facilitate investment governance to accelerate, pause, resequence, or stop work.
• Identify and manage interdependencies across projects, teams, timelines, and resources.
• Align sponsors and functional leaders on priorities, responsibilities, decisions, and expectations.
• Provide executive reporting and decision support with evidence, scenarios, models, and recommendations.
• Partner with Finance, Data Technology & Engineering, Workforce Strategy & Innovation, AI Transformation Operations, and functional leaders to align funding, resources, capacity, and workforce readiness.
• Refresh the portfolio as priorities, evidence, technology, and external developments change.

Pay Range: $227,200 - $340,800
