Job summary
Acumatica is seeking a highly influential Distinguished Engineer/Architect to drive enterprise-wide AI transformation and engineering productivity. You will report to the Chief Engineering Officer and collaborate with platform, AI/ML, product, and application teams to accelerate AI adoption across the company.
This individual contributor role requires long-term strategic thinking with hands-on execution, 15+ years in software leadership, and strong enterprise architecture credentials in SaaS or
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field; Advanced degree is a plus.
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including large-scale SaaS/cloud initiatives.
- Proven experience delivering and productizing AI/ML in enterprise apps.
- Strong enterprise architecture with balance of innovation, scalability and reliability.
- Experience driving engineering transformation and AI-assisted workflows.
- Ability to influence across organizations and lead without direct authority.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI transformation initiatives across Acumatica’s products and workflows.
- Define and scale AI-powered product capabilities with cross-functional teams.
- Guide teams on AI architecture, orchestration, and platform services for intelligent experiences.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and AI-enabled development.
- Collaborate with product and leadership to align technical strategy with business goals.
