Prolific is seeking Product Designers and UX Specialists to join our Expert Network to help train and evaluate AI models using real design expertise. If successful, you’ll be invited to join Prolific as a participant and get paid to train and evaluate models from home.

Bring a BS/MS/PhD in HCI, UX Design, Product Design, or related field, plus 1+ year design experience, strong usability and accessibility knowledge, and the ability to critique AI-generated designs.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in HCI, UX Design, Product Design or related field.
• Minimum 1 year designing digital products, user research, or design systems.
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility (WCAG) and user-centered design.
• Ability to critique UI layouts, flows and information architecture.
• Experience balancing user needs with business goals and constraints.
• Strong communication of design rationale and critique of AI-generated designs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM-Generated Designs: assess usability of AI-proposed wireframes and flows.
• Audit Accessibility & Inclusion: ensure outputs meet accessibility standards.
• Fact-Check UX Principles: verify alignment with established design patterns and psychology.
• Annotate Design Logic: identify gaps in user journeys and visual hierarchy.
• Refine Product Requirements: evaluate AI-generated PRDs for clarity and value.
