Job summary

Prolific is seeking Product Designers and UX Specialists to join our Expert Network for training and evaluating AI models with real design expertise. You’ll complete a brief test to assess fit and, if successful, join Prolific as a participant, getting paid to train and evaluate models from home.

Researchers paying for tasks can reach up to $50/hour, with many tasks requiring about an hour of uninterrupted work. Flexible hours and remote work help you fit around other commitments.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in HCI, UX Design, Product Design, or related field.
• At least one year of professional experience designing digital products.
• Strong understanding of usability heuristics and WCAG accessibility; user-centered design.
• Ability to provide high-quality feedback on UI layouts, flows, and information architecture.
• Experience balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
• Excellent communication to explain design decisions and critique AI-generated designs.
• Paypal account to receive payment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM-generated wireframes, user flows, and product requirements for usability and logical consistency.
• Audit accessibility and inclusion to ensure modern standards and inclusive design.
• Fact-check UX principles; validate alignment with design patterns and cognitive psychology principles.
• Annotate design logic to identify gaps in user journeys or poor visual hierarchy in AI-proposed interfaces.
• Refine product requirements to ensure clarity, feasibility, and user value.
