Job summary

Prolific invites Aerospace Engineers to join its expert network for AI training tasks. This freelance, fully remote work lets you choose your schedule and workloads with no minimum hours, paid via PayPal.

You will design and validate real-world CAD concepts using open-source tools (FreeCAD, KiCad and similar), write Python validation scripts, and document your workflow to help train AI models. Previous aerospace experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
• Proficiency with open-source CAD software (FreeCAD, KiCad or similar).
• Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
• Complete engineering design tasks while your workflow is captured to train AI models.
• Write and execute Python validation scripts to support your design workflow.
• Examples: fixed-wing glider optimizing glide distance, propeller blade design, drag-minimizing structures.

• Examples: Fixed-wing glider maximizing glide distance (≤4 printed parts); propeller blade optimizing static thrust; rocket fin set minimizing drag while maintaining stability; drone frame minimizing weight subject to impact survival
