Job Summary : The Business HR Intern will support the UPL NAM Human Resources Team in executing daily HR activities. Responsibilities include assisting with HR compliance, maintaining employee files, supporting employee engagement, communication, talent management, benchmarking, and aiding in bonus plan execution.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Learn the operations of the facility and HR's role in supporting business functions.
  2. Analyze current HR processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Assist with talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain employees.
  4. Participate in organizational benchmarking, comparing UPL NA’s practices with industry standards, and recommend improvements.
  5. Collaborate with the Commercial HR Business Partner to implement the Sales Incentive Plan in North America.
  6. Update and maintain employee databases and files.
  7. Respond to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related topics.
  8. Support other tasks and projects as assigned by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferably in Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or related fields.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Location : On-site at our Research Triangle Park, NC location.
