Job summary

York IT Solutions is seeking an AI Trainer to enable employees with practical AI skills in a remote, contract capacity.

The role focuses on designing hands-on training for Generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and productivity workflows, delivering instructor-led and virtual sessions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong communication, facilitation, and the ability to translate AI concepts into business value are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, technology training, enablement, instructional design, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools in professional environments.
• Strong knowledge of ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or comparable Generative AI platforms.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and effective human-AI interaction techniques.
• Experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on technology training.
• Ability to explain AI concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience developing training materials, presentations, exercises, job aids, and documentation.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led and virtual training programs on Generative AI and AI-powered productivity tools.
• Train employees on tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, and other enterprise-approved AI platforms.
• Teach practical prompt engineering techniques, including prompt structure, context setting, iterative prompting, output refinement, and validation.
• Demonstrate how AI can be integrated into research, writing, data analysis, presentations, and process automation.
• Develop hands-on exercises, workshops, job aids, quick-reference guides, FAQs, and other learning materials.
• Customize AI training for different business functions, roles, and skill levels.
• Conduct beginner to advanced AI training sessions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
