Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services is hiring an AI Threat Defense Engineer to help customers implement secure Google Cloud Platform solutions across San Francisco, New York, and other locations. You will guide secure foundations, automated provisioning, and cloud-ready application architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will interact with CIOs and CISOs, influence product directions, and travel up to 30% for in-region activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
Experience coding in Python/Java/Go/C/C++ including data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

Provide deep domain expertise in cloud security and be a trusted technical advisor to customers.
Design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions to meet security requirements.
Create and deliver best practices, tutorials, and technical presentations for stakeholders.
Manage senior stakeholders within customer environments to deliver consensus and positive outcomes.
Travel regularly (up to 30%) for meetings, reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
