Job summary

Aavalar Consulting, Inc. seeks an experienced enterprise AI architect to own the design and deployment of agentic AI solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment. You will define architectures using Azure OpenAI, Azure ML Studio, and AKS, and lead governance, security, and integration efforts.

You will collaborate with business and IT leadership to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and create scalable, secure AI capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Expertise in enterprise software engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles.
• Ownership of the technical design of agentic AI initiatives delivered into production.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure stack: Azure OpenAI, Azure ML Studio, AKS.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot integration and extension.
• Strong understanding of agent orchestration, observability, security, and RAG.
• Excellent communication with senior business and IT leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and architecture of agentic AI solutions from discovery to production.
• Define architectures using Azure OpenAI, Azure ML Studio, AKS and related services.
• Design agent orchestration patterns and CRM/system integrations.
• Establish AI security controls including authentication and data access boundaries.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and logging for AI in production.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for QA, grounding, accuracy, and safety.
• Extend and integrate Microsoft Copilot capabilities for business use cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across architecture, cybersecurity, infra, and dev teams.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot, and drive mitigation strategies.
• Present designs, status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Create repeatable design patterns and best practices for future AI initiatives.

Job description

• Own the technical design and architecture of agentic AI solutions, from discovery and prototyping through build, testing, and production deployment
• Define and validate solution architectures that use Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning Studio, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and related Azure services
• Design and implement agent orchestration patterns, including tool use, multi-agent workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems such as CRM platforms
• Establish and enforce AI security controls, including authentication, authorization, entitlement management, and data access boundaries
• Implement observability, monitoring, and logging practices for AI solutions in production, including tracing, cost and performance tracking, and incident response
• Develop evaluation frameworks for retrieval and generation quality, including groundedness, accuracy, relevance, and safety metrics
• Extend and integrate Microsoft Copilot capabilities to support business use cases where appropriate
• Partner with business stakeholders, architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and development teams to align AI solutions with enterprise standards and business objectives
• Identify technical and delivery risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive mitigation strategies
• Present solution designs, status updates, risks, and recommendations to senior business and IT leadership
• Establish repeatable design patterns, standards, and best practices for future AI initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in enterprise software engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles
• Demonstrated ownership of the technical design of agentic AI initiatives delivered into production environments
• Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, especially Microsoft Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML Studio, AKS, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, including extending or integrating Copilot capabilities
• Strong grasp of core AI concepts, including:
• Agent orchestration and workflow design
• Observability and monitoring of AI systems
• Authorization, entitlement, and secure data access
• Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) design and evaluation
• Model and output evaluation, quality measurement, and responsible AI practices
• Excellent business communication skills, with experience leading conversations with senior business and IT leadership
• Ability to explain technical concepts and risks clearly to non-technical audiences

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dynamics CRM, including integration with AI-driven solutions
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Dynamics 365 integrations via APIs
• Experience implementing AI solutions in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
