Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an AI Tech Lead to drive enterprise applications across a hybrid footprint in St. Louis, MO; Charlotte, NC; and Denver, CO. Lead design and deployment of large-scale systems while leveraging AI to accelerate delivery and improve performance.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering or leadership, strong Java/Spring Boot expertise, AWS experience, and SQL Server/PostgreSQL knowledge. You will mentor teams and partner with product owners and architects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise app development, or leadership.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architectures.
• Experience using AI tools to improve development and automation.
• Hands-on AWS experience (EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, IAM) and databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, deployment, and support of large-scale enterprise apps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple initiatives.
• Design and develop full-stack apps using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve coding, automate processes, and accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and infrastructure teams to build cloud-native AWS solutions.
