Job summary

Nationwide Technology in Columbus is seeking a Software Engineer to mentor teams and deliver secure, scalable software solutions for a Fortune 100 company. The role supports a hybrid schedule with in-office days Wednesday and Thursday.

You will lead engineering efforts across AI adoption, APIs and microservices, and DevSecOps practices while collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive business results.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, MIS, mathematics or related field preferred.
• Six years of programming and systems analysis experience. Three years in project management preferred.
• Hands-on technical leadership with design direction. Knowledge of SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Apply secure software engineering practices across the delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals.
• Drive cross-team collaboration and project execution.
• Develop, test, debug, and deploy software per standards.
• Champion DevSecOps practices and continuous learning.
