Job summary

SFE in Cupertino, CA seeks a Tech Lead to architect and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions. You will lead development of RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and scalable deployment on Kubernetes and cloud environments.

You will work closely with customers to translate workflows into robust technical implementations, demos, and documentation, while ensuring quality through automated tests and compliant testing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) preferred.
• Strong Python skills and experience with vector databases and embeddings.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience with scalable API deployments.

Job Description

• Build and optimize RAG pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and document-processing workflows
• Design agentic AI systems - including tool calling, orchestration, reasoning loops, and workflow automation
• Develop Applied AI solutions that integrate with customer backend systems, APIs, and data sources
• Implement AI services on Kubernetes, cloud environments, or customer-controlled infrastructure
• Work directly with customers to deliver high-quality technical implementations, demos, and documentation
• Install, maintain, or use software testing programs.
• Develop test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing and usability.
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
• Develop/Update automated test scripts to ensure currency.
• Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance.

Preferred Skills

• Strong experience with LLMs and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom-built solutions
• Expertise in Python, vector databases (Elastic, Milvus, Pinecone, etc.), embeddings, and chunking strategies
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and scalable API deployment
• Ability to understand customer workflows and translate them into actionable technical solutions
