Alpheva AI is seeking experienced software engineers to train and evaluate AI coding systems through realistic repositories and engineering workflows. Projects may span backend and distributed systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, frontend and mobile engineering, ML infrastructure, and coding agents.

Assignments vary in scope and cadence, with pay in the range of $30 to $1000 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming, debugging, and code review skills in production codebases.
• Ability to understand unfamiliar repositories and explain technical decisions clearly.
• Experience writing and reviewing tests and assessing correctness, maintainability, and security.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Java, C++, Rust, or a similar language.
