Job summary

Toffler Associates, a future-focused strategic advisory firm, seeks an AI Systems & Automation Intern to support client projects across Aerospace, Energy, and federal agencies. The role is hybrid and requires in-office presence a few days per week, starting in May and ending August 21.

This paid internship offers hands-on experience developing AI-enabled workflows, managing data, and working with leadership to automate processes, with a focus on practical, secure AI deployment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Coursework or projects related to machine learning or AI is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-enabled workflows, copilots, and applications using modern AI platforms and APIs
• Assist in managing and organizing structured and unstructured data for AI applications and retrieval systems
• Work with CEO and Director of Operations to identify opportunities to automate business overhead and operational processes
• Prototype rapidly, iterate continuously, and translate concepts into functional applications
• Support data governance, permissions management, and secure AI deployment practices
• Collaborate across teams to translate foresight, strategy, and operational needs into practical AI-enabled solutions
