Monarch Space Systems, Inc. in Cleveland, OH seeks an AI Systems Architect to serve as the principal technical architect of the Aegis Enterprise Intelligence platform.

The role focuses on governing AI-enabled operations across space systems programs, with a strong emphasis on data governance and AI governance frameworks. Responsibilities include defining architecture, security, and human-in-the-loop controls, while ensuring ITAR/EAR and CUI compliance for aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML systems architecture, enterprise software, or advanced analytics.
• Experience designing governed AI systems with human-in-the-loop oversight.
• Strong background in data security, zero-trust architecture, and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the Aegis Enterprise Intelligence platform, including knowledge management, workflow automation, and AI governance infrastructure.
• Design and maintain ProposalAI capture modules, including RFP decomposition and technical narrative structuring.
• Lead development of Integrated Mission Intelligence for real-time performance visibility for federal customers.
• Define AI governance frameworks with human-in-the-loop controls, audit logging, version control, and output review protocols.
• Establish data architecture, security boundaries, and zero-trust access controls across all systems.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR, CUI, and federal data handling requirements for aerospace programs.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align AI capabilities with strategy and requirements.
• Partner on technology roadmap and governance evolution; lead performance monitoring and bias assessment.

This role encompasses ProposalAITM (capture acceleration), Integrated Mission IntelligenceTM (IMI, secure customer transparency), and the underlying secure systems architecture. The candidate will define the technical architecture, data governance posture, and AI governance framework that governs all AI-enabled operations across space systems programs.
