Job summary

OhioHealth at Home in partnership with Compassus is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy support in patient homes. You will assist PTs in improving patient mobility and ensure hands-on care while AI supports documentation.

In this role, you will document therapy outcomes with AI tools and focus on meaningful interactions, reducing administrative burden and enhancing care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Minimum 1 year PTA experience in home care or rehabilitation setting.
• Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support PTs during therapy sessions to improve patient mobility.
• Use AI tools to document therapy outcomes efficiently.
• Prioritize meaningful patient interactions and minimize documentation distractions.
