Job summary

ZS is a management consulting and technology firm focused on improving life sciences outcomes. This senior role partners with life sciences clients to drive AI-based transformations and deliver high-impact engagements across a global client base.

Based in the United States with a hybrid work model, you will guide strategic initiatives, lead diverse teams, and mentor consultants while expanding ZS’s influence in healthcare and technology domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business or Life Sciences.
• MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable.
• 8+ years’ experience in life science industry management consulting.
• 6+ years’ experience in a leadership role within a professional service firm.
• Demonstrate deep healthcare and life sciences industry sector knowledge with a functional expertise across operations.
• Demonstrated experience in driving agenda setting services at the C level of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies; strong communication.
• Strong credentials in tech strategy and Enterprise Architecture; AI-oriented domain experience.
• Prior experience in Cloud data strategy and AI infusion.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs; English fluency; client-first mentality.

What you'll do:

• Client-Building
  • Engaging with digital-oriented executives to shape their agendas, developing expertise and ZS capital around AI-based-transformations.
  • Consistently deliver high impact and high value client services.
  • Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Lead with current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
• Team/Practice-Building
  • Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Developing ZS teams in use of AI personally, and supporting existing ZS teams in their AI pursuits and deployments.
  • Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members.
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization.

What you’ll bring:

• Prior experience in Cloud data strategy and AI infusion.
• A forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge.
• Ability to lead a virtual team of consulting professionals across multiple projects.
