Oberon is seeking an AI Product Strategist in Los Angeles to lead outbound efforts and coordinate with our external delivery partner to turn client problems into scoped opportunities. You’ll own the early sales lifecycle, fix outbound blockers, and gauge what resonates with prospects before scaling volume.
You’ll join a small, ambitious team building AI-driven transformations. Bring startup or consulting experience, a track record of closing conversations, and a curiosity about deploying AI
Oberon buys and transforms mid-market operating businesses with AI agents, through Oberon Holdings, and runs the same kind of transformation for companies we don't own, through Oberon Studios. Most of what makes a company hard to fix is a solvable engineering problem: messy data, scattered institutional knowledge, and outdated workflows. We build that tooling once and make it sharper with every company we engage with, ensuring the process improves and scales over time.
We're small and early, which means a new hire here comes with a large amount of responsibility and growth potential.

This role splits between two things: building outbound that gets Oberon Studios in front of the right companies and working with our external delivery partner (the engineering team that builds and ships the work) to turn a client's problem into something we can scope and sell.
Early on, that also means fixing what's not working outbound today, including deliverability and tooling, and getting a clear read on what's landing, before adding more volume on top of it.
You might come from sales development, consulting, banking, or a startup where you gained responsibility and achieved impact. You should be able to speak to a client engagement you helped close, a campaign you ran end to end, or something you built and shipped.
On a discovery call, you sit with what a client is dealing with, ask the question that gets past the polished version of the problem, and bring back something the team can build against.
You're equally comfortable being the most junior person in a room with a client's leadership and grinding through an outbound list.
Compensation is commensurate with candidate experience and will be discussed during the hiring process. Base salary guidance is $120,000 to $160,000, in addition to bonus and equity.
We hire on ability and fit, not background. Every applicant gets a fair look regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or any other status protected by law.
