Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a strategic thinker in the greater Seattle area to identify market opportunities for key products like Internet of Things and to collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Sales teams.

You will build financial models, craft data-driven recommendations, and develop executive-level presentations to influence leadership decisions and drive growth across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of related work experience, or advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience, or equivalent
  • Fields of study include Business, Management, Economics, Statistics, or related areas (preferred)

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Sales to support business planning

Job Overview

This role supports business growth by identifying market opportunities and analysing competitive trends for key products such as Internet of Things. It involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to perform complex analyses and deliver insights that inform critical business decisions. The role requires synthesising recommendations and constructing executive-level presentations to communicate findings clearly and effectively. Success is measured by the ability to influence decision-making, drive cross-functional collaboration, and provide actionable business insights. The work impacts organisational strategy and supports leadership in aligning business initiatives with market dynamics and customer needs.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Management, Economics, Statistics, or related field (Preferred)
Preferred Work Experience
  • 4-7 years Management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or other related experience requiring quantitative analysis and executive presentation skills.
  • Less than 2 years Prior experience in B2B, Product Strategy, and/or Telecom.
  • 4-7 years Strategy and Problem Solving experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations.
  • 4-7 years Financial modeling and Analytics. Experience in developing financial models and performing financial and operating analysis and reporting, including analysing complex data.
  • Less than 2 years Project management. Experience managing project independently, engaging and getting buy-in from stakeholders, creating roadmaps and project plans.

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $108,100 - $195,040 National Base Pay Range: $94,000 - $169,600

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity. The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
