The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks a Technical Integration Engineer III to design, build, operate, and improve hybrid AI platforms, enabling AI-enabled services with reliable, scalable infrastructure.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, design secure cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and collaborate with engineers, security, and stakeholders to support enterprise AI initiatives across UW–Madison and affiliated units.

Competenze

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting production software applications using Python, Go, Rust, or other modern programming languages
• Demonstrated experience provisioning and supporting cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
• Demonstrated experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices in production environments
• Demonstrated experience deploying and operating containerized applications and Kubernetes platforms
• Demonstrated experience implementing monitoring, troubleshooting, logging, securing, observability, and operational support practices for enterprise applications and services
• Experience supporting enterprise hybrid technology platforms spanning cloud and on-premises environments in higher education

• Plans, coordinates, and executes the development, testing, implementation, integration, and installation of moderately complex system resources, upgrades, and security components in alignment with industry best practices
• Designs small components and runs, maintains, and operates technical systems and infrastructure
• Plans and directs staff implementation of small to medium technical projects as needed
• Assist in the adoption of agentic AI solutions
• Integrates, identifies, troubleshoots, monitors, and resolves complex and varied supported services, systems, network, and application problems according to established processes and procedures
• Serves as an expert point of contact for external stakeholders and IT partners regarding system integrations, identifies needs, provides solution options, and communicates issue updates and resolutions
