Ledgent Technology is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer (Microsoft) for a contract role in Irvine, CA. You will design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications in a Microsoft environment, with hands-on experience across Azure, Copilot, Databricks, OpenAI, and related tools.

This position requires 5–9 years of experience, strong Python, API integrations, and expertise in RAG architectures and enterprise data integration. The role is hybrid onsite in Irvine and pays $75–$85 per hour on a W2 basis.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of professional experience, with 2–4 years in AI, automation, or low-code platforms.
• Strong Python development skills with real-world apps and services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, and API integrations in a Microsoft enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications, automations, and agent-based solutions in a Microsoft environment
• Develop integrations using Azure, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Databricks, OpenAI, and related AI technologies
• Build APIs, workflows, and connections between AI agents, enterprise systems, and business data
• Implement RAG architectures, prompt engineering strategies, and AI-powered automation
• Leverage SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and enterprise data sources to create intelligent user experiences
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions
