Job summary

Chatham Financial is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to lead architectural decisions for AI-enabled client solutions on the Onyx platform. You will work with AI consultants, engineers, and platform teams to ensure scalable, secure, and well-governed implementations aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the AI Consulting Practice and the Onyx engineering organization, translating practice needs into platform requests.
• Participate in early-stage scoping and design reviews for new client engagements, identifying architectural risks and alignment with strategy.
• Guide decisions on resiliency, scalability, data residency, disaster recovery, and operational support.
• Define authentication, authorization, secrets management, data classification, and access control practices.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing Onyx services or extend platform capabilities to meet needs.
• Evaluate buy-versus-build considerations with respect to requirements and long-term support.
• Define and steward integration standards between AI solutions and Onyx, including API contracts and access controls.
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and security teams for infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD.
• Bridge architecture across Python/FastAPI/Azure and C#/.NET/TypeScript stacks for integration.
• Plan solution transitions to broader organization and ensure documentation and operability.
• Provide architectural guidance and mentorship throughout projects.
• Support development of architecture standards and reusable patterns.
