AI Solutions Architect

The Opportunity:

Designs and implements effective AI solution architecture or strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the organization's strategies and business goals, and key ethical considerations. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience in the analysis and design of complex IT solutions, including integrating or interfacing between multiple software applications, processing platforms, and software products

• 5+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, or machine learning engineering

• 5+ years of experience with software development

• 5+ years of experience with DevSecOps practices such as containerization, orchestration, CI/CD, and automated testing adapted for custom toolchain environments

• Experience with agentic AI or deep learning

• Experience with independent, self-directed research

• Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design

• Ability to quickly learn about and distill a wide variety of complex technical topics into core concepts understandable by general audiences

• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience leading technical development and technical research teams

• Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs) or Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
