Job summary

HIGH BRIDGE CONSULTING LLC seeks an AI-First Solution Engineer to design and build modern digital solutions across the insurance business. This hands-on role combines solid software engineering with an AI-first approach to solution design and development.

The ideal candidate will design scalable solutions using TS, Python, or .NET, leverage Claude Code, and apply AI-first thinking to architecture, automation and integration while collaborating with product, architecture and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, Python, and/or .NET.
• Experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding tools.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, cloud technologies and application development.
• AI-first thinking and ability to use AI to accelerate development, testing and solution design.
• Insurance industry experience preferred (not required).

AI-First Solution Engineer

Our client is seeking an AI-First Solution Engineer to help design and build modern digital solutions across its growing insurance business. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with a practical, AI-first approach to solution design and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable business and digital solutions using TypeScript, Python, or .NET.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, as part of the software development and solution engineering lifecycle.
• Apply an AI-first mindset to architecture, development, automation, integration and problem solving.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and prototypes.
• Work closely with product, architecture and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging AI technologies and development practices into enterprise applications.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience with TypeScript, Python, and/or .NET.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding/agentic development tools.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, cloud technologies and application development.
• Thinks AI-first and is comfortable using AI to accelerate development, testing, documentation and solution design.
• Insurance industry experience is highly preferred , particularly experience with insurance platforms, workflows, underwriting, claims, policy administration or insurance distribution.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with business and technology stakeholders.
