Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Solution Architect to architect and design comprehensive technology solutions for an assigned portfolio. You will collaborate with architecture leaders to ensure designs align with standards, guiding delivery across Agile teams.

The role requires experience with multiple programming languages, software engineering delivery, and strong stakeholder communication capabilities to support banking initiatives and enterprise targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of relevant work experience in technology/architecture.
Experience with multiple programming languages and software delivery.
Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience in developing and integrating applications using software architecture principles and patterns.
Ability to research and apply modern technology trends to initiatives.
Experience delivering technology solutions in banking or enterprise contexts.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in design, building, testing and deployment of technology solutions with Agile teams.
Collaborate with domain leadership and enterprise architects to determine solution designs.
Articulate value and tradeoffs of solution options with domain SMEs.
Contribute to enterprise architecture standards and ensure compliance of delivered solutions.
Produce and refine conceptual, logical and physical solution architectures for strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders in Agile ceremonies to align roadmaps and delivery.
