Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking an AI Solutions Architect-Engineer for a hybrid onsite role in Irvine, CA. This contract (6+ months) offers $75-$85 per hour (W2 only) to build AI-powered solutions in a Microsoft-centric environment.

You will design and deploy AI-driven apps, integrate with Azure, Copilot Studio, Databricks, OpenAI, and related technologies, and create scalable APIs and workflows across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of professional experience, including 2-4 years in AI, automation, or low-code platforms.
• Strong Python development skills with real-world apps and services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, and Databricks Genie.
• Experience integrating AI models via APIs and SDKs.
• Experience with MCP servers for connecting AI agents to tools/data.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint.
• Knowledge of API-based integrations and enterprise systems.
• Expertise in RAG, prompt engineering, and AI agent workflows.

• Experience integrating AI models such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms through APIs and SDKs
• Experience working with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for connecting AI agents to tools and data
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and enterprise system integrations; Strong understanding of API-based integrations and connecting enterprise systems
• Expertise in RAG, prompt engineering, and AI agent workflows
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Azure
