The Role

You’ll join a high‑performing team, with high expectations and excellent opportunities for career growth and advancements. We are looking for a Solution Consultant professional who can excel in and add expertise to a team that is accelerating the deployment of AI solutions across life sciences.

This role is for you if you are versatile, adaptive, and eager to learn and grow your career by designing and applying leading AI and Data Science enabled solutions across biopharma value chain, including the clinical trial planning, feasibility, and recruitment space, helping clients meet their business goals leveraging Citeline’s evolving suite of data assets, solutions and services. You have subject matter expertise with life sciences knowledge and practical applications of AI, data science and agentic automation in the space. You’ll work collaboratively with Sales and Implementation to deliver value to clients by designing innovative solutions focused on accelerating the success of clinical trials and bringing critical new treatment options to patients that need them.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing subject matter expertise on client engagements to demonstrate the value of our AI‑enabled solutions combining platform, services and Real World Data (RWD) offerings to support use cases across the clinical lifecycle including clinical trial planning, feasibility, and patient engagement and recruitment.
  • Bring technical and business credibility to customer conversations for solutions that are underpinned with AI and advanced data science models, translating complex AI concepts into clear, value‑driven narratives aligned to customer objectives.
  • Design AI‑enabled, custom instances and bespoke solutions for strategic customers, leveraging Norstella and customer data assets, AI models, products and service offerings, in collaboration with Product and Data Science teams.
  • Collaborate with and support dedicated Sales teams across all account segments (new logos, existing accounts small biotech through large pharma).
  • Accountable for attributing deals towards the team’s sales targets as set forth by the business.
  • Independently manage a solution/technical qualification with a compelling proposal slide creation that results in new business.
  • Support additional pre‑sales activities needed to support Sales including building business cases and executive summaries, presenting use case and therapy area relevant case studies, collaborating with sales on pricing and negotiations, understanding and conveying project implementation activities and timelines, creating and delivering proposals and contracts.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as Citeline’s Product Management and Sales teams to share feedback from client interactions and strive for continuous improvements in Citeline’s offering to BioPharma.
  • Manage the coordination internally with the implementation team for pre‑sales scoping & for Request for Information (RFI) & Request for Proposals (RFP).
  • Be able to test new clinical offerings with several potential clients and share feedback to internal stakeholders to drive innovation and ensure product market fit in highly complex selling situations.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience in data science or AI consulting within life sciences.
  • A passion for healthcare, life sciences, data /analytics, and technology.
  • Proven experience identifying AI use cases in life sciences settings and architecting AI Solutions, with evidence of supporting them through to proof‑of‑concept or pilot stage.
  • Highly competent from a technical perspective with a strong track record for demonstrating and presenting solutions to Pharmaceutical & Biotech customers.
  • Strong understanding of data science principles, including machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics, with the ability to translate these into business value. Track record of collaborating with product and engineering teams to shape AI solution development based on client needs and market trends.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial team and other key internal departments.
  • Able to successfully engage senior stakeholders, confidently and credibly.
  • Have an inquisitive mindset, eager to learn the Pharma industry and our products, while keeping abreast of them, in order to have credible, insightful conversations with our prospective clients.
  • Ability to articulate complex solutions in a simple and coherent manner.
  • Powerful verbal and written communication and experienced with customer‑facing presentations.
  • Willing to travel as needed.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
