Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Associate Director– AI Software Security Engine to drive applied AI innovation across classified and unclassified environments. You will directly contribute to hands-on development, secure deployment, and transition of AI/ML capabilities into programs, delivering real value.

The role requires a strong hands-on leader with experience in secure AI, MLOps, cloud platforms, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Onsite work in McKinney, TX, and other locations is required.

Qualifications

• Must typically hold a STEM degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with LLMs and advanced ML architectures.
• Experience implementing secure MLOps and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise across AWS, Azure, GCP and embedded environments.
• Proficient in Python and modern ML frameworks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and deploy AI/ML models, including LLMs and advanced architectures.
• Build, harden, and operate secure AI pipelines across cloud and embedded platforms.
• Transition prototypes into reliable operational capability.
• Provide AI development best practices, training, and enablement for teams.
• Collaborate across engineering, research, leadership and customers.
• Evaluate new secure AI technologies and lifecycle management.
