Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior Product Manager to direct comprehensive product strategy from conception through end of life. You will drive long-term roadmaps, coordinate design, manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams, and manage cost/profit considerations across product lifecycles.

The role involves leading market analysis, business cases, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver differentiated products and strong performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
• Advanced degrees may substitute for up to two years of experience (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years).
• 10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
• 3+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.
• 2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
• 2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements.

Responsibilities

• Identifies gaps in market based on analyses of market, customer, technology, and ecosystem demands.
• Leads team collaboration in creating business cases for development of a new, complex product.
• Markets new and complex products through technical marketing opportunities and drives product launch efforts.
• Delivers highly complex technical presentations regarding a product roadmap to customers.
• Translates customer feedback into changes for the differentiated product roadmap and communicates to senior leaders.
• Directs development of highly complex products or new product areas and services, with cross-functional coordination.
• Completes product development/definition activities including cost/impact and works with sales for forecasts.
• Keeps up to date on competitors and tech advances; leads in innovation and differentiation.
