Job summary

Elsevier is seeking an Engineering Lead to manage a small team of software engineers, guiding technical strategy, delivery, and product alignment for CK AI Service. The role involves hands-on coding on complex systems and shaping project plans, schedules, and methodologies.

The Lead Engineer will own the technical direction for RAG workflows and API expansion, mentor team members, and collaborate with Data Science to drive the product roadmap within a global information analytics company.

Responsibilities

• Lead six direct reports in CK AI Service team.
• Own technical strategy and execution for CK AI Service, incl. RAG workflows and API expansion.
• Improve delivery velocity and reduce bottlenecks across the platform.
• Establish scalable leadership model to support team growth.
• Collaborate with Data Science to drive product road map and design.
