Qualifications

• 1+ years in software development, integration, or automation in a professional environment.
• Experience in Python for developing, testing, and debugging components.
• Experience integrating APIs and working with relational, document, or NoSQL stores.
• Experience delivering in small teams with Agile, Kanban, or structured collaboration, and with Git and code review norms.
• Experience with cloud or enterprise deployment patterns or on-prem integration environments.
• Ability to translate mission or security requirements into concrete technical tasks and explain tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Understand the client and the problem: discuss objectives, constraints, and security or compliance boundaries.
• Shape solutions: contribute to approaches, tradeoff analysis, and implementation plans.
• Deliver hands-on technical work: design, implement, test, and troubleshoot scripts, services, APIs, or automation, including AI-enabled workflows.
• Integrate systems and data: work with REST/HTTP APIs, data stores, and enterprise/cloud patterns.
• Document and communicate: produce clear artifacts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Respect the cyber context: align with RMF, controls, and secure engineering practices.
• Improve how we work: use version control, review practices, and lightweight testing.
