Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking two AI Software Engineers for a hybrid role in Buffalo, NY. The position focuses on building distributed cloud-based applications using C# and the .NET stack, integrating generative AI, and containerizing services with Docker/Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development experience, strong C# and OOP skills, and hands-on Azure DevOps and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Familiarity with React, Angular, Vue.js and other modern web technologies
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including DevOps, Messaging Systems, and IaC
• Preferred experience with Blazor (Server or WebAssembly)
• Preferred experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, etc.)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps)
• Understanding distributed system architectures and design patterns
• Experience with REST APIs and testing tools
• Experience with unit and integration testing

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using C# and .NET
• Build and enhance distributed cloud-based systems on Azure
• Implement business logic and evolving system features
• Integrate and optimize generative AI and LLM capabilities using orchestration frameworks
• Containerize applications with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps
• Support and troubleshoot production systems for high availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scalable solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code following OOP principles
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement
