Job summary

HireRising is seeking a Software Engineer – AI Transformation to accelerate software development using Generative AI, cloud technologies, automation, and modern engineering practices. You will collaborate with AI tools and cloud platforms to deliver scalable software solutions.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, CI/CD automation, and adherence to SDLC and Agile methodologies. Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork are essential in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software development/engineering.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Experience with Harness or another CI/CD platform (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and SOA.
• Experience with source control, code reviews, build processes, and software testing.
• Experience using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Power Automate, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and productivity.
• Work with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
• Design and develop solutions using AWS cloud technologies.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Harness or comparable platforms.
• Participate in the SDLC from design to deployment.
• Apply Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Follow software engineering best practices, including coding standards, source control, code reviews, automated testing, and build processes.
• Work with OO programming and SOA concepts.
• Collaborate with leaders, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to increase efficiency and capabilities.

About the Role

• Leverage Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and productivity.
• Work with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
• Design and develop solutions using AWS cloud technologies.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Harness or comparable platforms.
• Participate throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from design and development through testing and deployment.
• Apply Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Follow software engineering best practices, including coding standards, source control, code reviews, automated testing, and build processes.
• Work with object-oriented programming concepts and service-oriented architectures.
• Collaborate with technical leaders, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to increase development efficiency and business capabilities.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to high-quality, scalable solutions.
