Evolve ESolutions is seeking a mid-level AI Software Engineer on a contract basis for hybrid work in Holmdel, NJ or Jersey City, NJ. The Role

This is a hybrid contract engagement for a mid-level AI Software Engineer based out of Holmdel, NJ or Jersey City, NJ, with two days onsite per week. You will be embedded in a fast-moving team developing intelligent applications powered by large language models and modern AI techniques. Beyond the technical work, you will engage directly with business stakeholders — translating complex AI capabilities into practical solutions that drive real outcomes. Candidates must be local and able to commute to one of the two office locations.

What You Will Do

Build and maintain AI-powered software applications from design through deployment, with a focus on reliability and scalability. Implement large language model integrations and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines to solve meaningful business problems. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. Contribute to a high-velocity engineering environment where your work ships quickly and your ideas are heard.

What We Are Looking For
