Job summary

Majestic Labs is seeking a seasoned SoC Architect to lead the design and integration of the management subsystem within its AI acceleration platform. This hands-on role defines architecture for control flows and bridges silicon and software seamlessly.

You will collaborate with RTL, firmware, and system teams to optimize performance, power, and area while guiding cross-functional architectural discussions in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering required.
• 6+ years in SoC architecture with control/subsystem focus.
• Proven ARM core integration, PCIe, DDR/LPDDR experience.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and own management subsystem architecture for Majestic’s SoC.
• Integrate ARM cores and subsystems for control and monitoring.
• Architect PCIe and high‑bandwidth I/O for host/device communication.
• Specify and integrate DDR/LPDDR interfaces and memory management.
• Design SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO and system control buses.
• Develop scheduler and interrupt schemes and driver paths.
• Integrate debug/trace tools (CoreSight, profilers).
• Collaborate with RTL, firmware, and board teams for co-design.
• Balance performance, power, and area tradeoffs.
