Job summary

Employee Magnets seeks a hardware repair process architect to lead AI server repair initiatives in Grapevine, TX. You will design end-to-end diagnostic workflows, craft SOPs, and build tools to diagnose and repair high-performance AI servers.

You will perform deep root-cause analyses, collaborate with product design and hardware teams, and drive continuous improvement through robust processes and validated test plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3+ years in a technical role (e.g., Test/Manufacturing/Repair Engineering) with server hardware focus.
  • Proven expertise in creating SOPs, workflows, and diagnostic plans for complex electronics.
  • Hands-on hardware diagnostics, schematic analysis, and troubleshooting for server systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash) to streamline testing and data collection.
  • Expertise in server architecture including GPUs, InfiniBand/Ethernet, CPUs, and power distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end workflows for diagnosing and repairing AI servers and components.
  • Develop SOPs, diagnostic flowcharts, and job instructions.
  • Design and implement advanced diagnostic software tools and fixtures to improve repair accuracy and efficiency.
  • Define test plans for components and full systems to meet reliability standards.
  • Establish control points to monitor repair quality and collect repair data for improvement.
  • Triage and resolve complex hardware issues, partnering with design and R&D teams to influence future products.
