Job summary

Alex is seeking its first dedicated Security & Trust Engineer to own information security, compliance, and AI governance at Alex. You will own the customer security review, automate the questionnaire workflow, and stay ahead of AI risk and regulatory changes.

You will lead security calls with enterprise prospects, drive SOC 2 readiness, and collaborate with CTO, Engineering, Sales to maintain enterprise-grade trust.

Qualifications

• Own the customer security review, end to end, including infosec questionnaires and vendor risk assessments.
• Build the answer library and tooling to accelerate questionnaire turnaround while reducing manual effort.
• Own the point of view on AI risk and regulation and translate it into practical requirements for the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead security, information security, and AI governance calls with enterprise prospects and customers.
• Run compliance programs and audits (SOC 2, roadmap for ISO 27001, ISO 42001 as applicable).
• Partner with Engineering to ensure security controls back up what we tell customers (access management, vendor reviews, incident response).
• Shift left with Product and Engineering to address security at design time for new features.
