Job summary

Vinson & Elkins seeks an Information Security Application and Compliance Analyst to design, evaluate, and establish AI security frameworks and governance controls across the firm. You will independently assess AI-generated code and AI/ML systems, maturing security posture and supporting compliance activities throughout the application lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred in IS/CS/Cybersecurity.
• 2–4 years in AI security, secure code review, SDLC or AI governance.
• Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate AI-generated code and AI/ML systems for security risk.
• Design AI security frameworks, standards, and governance controls.
• Support security operations: tooling administration, incident triage, remediation tracking.
• Assist with third-party/vendor risk, SDLC governance, and audit evidence.
