Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an AI Security Engineer to help ensure AI applications across the company meet the highest security standards.

You will partner with software teams to review code, build security automation, and drive risk assessments for AI systems used by millions of customers. Strong programming skills in Python/Java/C++ and experience with GenAI security are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in threat modeling, secure coding, or related security disciplines.
• Experience programming in Python, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP networking.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or 3+ years IT security experience.
• Understanding GenAI security vulnerabilities and remediation methods.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain threat models for diverse software projects.
• Perform manual and automated code review, primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Develop AI security automation tools.
• Provide AI security training and outreach for internal teams.
• Offer AI security architecture and design guidance.
• Independently solve AI security problems with novel approaches.
• Influence team priorities to improve security outcomes.
