Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an AI Security Analyst to secure its AI ecosystem supporting 110,000+ students, faculty, and staff. The role focuses on evaluating security risks across AI platforms, data integrations, APIs, and MCP servers, while advising engineering teams on secure architecture and governance.

The candidate should have 3+ years in cybersecurity, with experience in AI/ML systems, data pipelines, and cloud security, and be adept at communicating complex risks to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, app or cloud security.
• Experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, data pipelines, APIs.
• Understanding of app security, authentication/authorization, API security, cloud security.
• Ability to analyze data flows and architectures to identify risk.
• Experience performing security reviews or risk assessments.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in AI security, agentic AI, data governance, and emerging tech.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (FERPA/HIPAA/NIST 800-53/800-171/SOC 2).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate security risks across AI platforms, agents, data integrations, APIs.
• Advise engineering teams on secure architecture and governance for AI ecosystems.
• Lead security reviews and risk assessments for AI initiatives.
• Communicate risks and recommended mitigations to stakeholders.
