You will partner with AI and engineering teams, defining guardrails, patterns, and controls for LLMs, agents, and vector databases while enabling secure, rapid innovation.

Responsibilities

• Review and secure the architecture of AI applications and platforms.
• Define security patterns and guardrails for LLMs, AI agents, and vectors.
• Identify risks across data flows, model access, identity boundaries, and third parties.
• Design identity, authentication, and authorization for AI systems.
• Evaluate emerging AI threats and define suitable controls.
• Establish monitoring, guardrails, policy enforcement, and detection.
• Translate AI security requirements into engineering standards and guidance.
• Enable secure innovation by guiding risk-based decisions.
• Provide technical leadership as WEX adopts AI technologies.
