Job summary

TrendAI, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, seeks a Security Analyst to join our MDR team in a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement in Irving, TX. You will translate security events into actionable intelligence and collaborate with AI-driven detection to distinguish real threats from noise for Fortune 500 environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security or related field.
1-2 years in a full-time security position, preferably in a SOC environment or security monitoring role.
Log analysis, event correlation and understanding of host and network log sources; familiarity with SIEM platforms.
Network security fundamentals: firewalls and traffic analysis.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments; ability to identify suspicious system behavior.
Alert analysis: real-time alert investigation and prioritization; differentiate signal from noise.
TrendAI Vision One platform or equivalent threat intelligence/XDR platforms.
Fundamental understanding of AI/ML concepts and use cases.
Strong learning ability; capable of thriving in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

AI-Driven Operations: Contribute to automation and AI initiatives that accelerate alert triage and improve MDR delivery.
Threat Monitoring & Detection: Monitor security events across endpoints, emails, servers and networks using Vision One and investigate real-time alerts.
Alert Triage & Investigation: Prioritize genuine intrusions and differentiate from false positives; assess unknown or suspicious behavior.
Incident Containment: Rapidly contain, eradicate and communicate containment actions to customers.
Detection Refinement: Develop and refine detection criteria; improve malware analysis and threat prevention solutions.
Customer Communication: Prepare detailed security alert notifications with findings and recommendations.
Threat Hunting: Generate threat intelligence from incidents to identify trends and improve posture.
