Qualifications

• Enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or related field, or Bachelor's/Master's with relevant experience and graduation after internship.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration.
• Hybrid work environment at an Intuit office location (relocation stipend).
• Strong ML fundamentals and mathematical foundations.
• Python and SQL proficiency.
• Interest in generative AI and LLMs.
• Excellent communication and learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and explore large, real‑world datasets to uncover patterns and prepare them for modeling, including your own data wrangling and ETL.
• Build, train, and evaluate ML/ DL models using techniques like classification, regression, clustering, and neural networks.
• Engineer and refine features from raw data to improve model performance.
• Design and run experiments (A/B tests), perform statistical analysis, and communicate results to peers and leaders.
• Explore current AI/ML research, including generative AI/LLMs, to inform new solutions.
• Partner with AI Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and PMs to translate insights into product impact.
• Develop proofs‑of‑concept for AI‑driven features or solutions.
• Document research, model architectures, code, and experiments for technical and non‑technical audiences.
