Job summary

Salesforce is hiring an AI Scientist to design, prototype, and ship machine learning systems powering our agentic commerce products on Commerce Cloud. You will work closely with research and product engineering to take ideas from whiteboard to production with real customers and data.

You'll run applied research end-to-end, build hands-on proofs of concept, and translate results into shipped features. Strong ML background and Python tooling are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ML experience: built, trained and evaluated models.
• Strong foundation in RL, DL, optimization, causal inference or OR.
• Proficient in Python and standard ML tooling.
• Able to work on ambiguous, open-ended problems and prototype quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and ship ML systems powering agentic commerce products.
• Collaborate with Commerce Cloud engineering, product and other researchers.
• Run applied research end-to-end from framing to evaluation.
• Prototype quickly, then harden the most promising concepts for production.
