Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off in writing. Your work helps improve AI systems and supports frontier research.

Compensation is up to $18 USD per hour with weekly payments. The role offers remote work from home or while traveling, with no minimum hours and free access to leading LLMs for your tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and careful watching/listening.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making decisions when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos to judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot issues like distorted visuals or misaligned audio.
• Writing clear English explanations highlighting what was seen or heard.
