Job summary

Rogo seeks an AI researcher to translate breakthroughs in LLMs and reinforcement learning into transformative financial products for top investment firms. You will architect end-to-end learned systems and build scalable evaluation infrastructure to continuously improve model quality and business value.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure solutions deliver real user value, while maintaining high standards of code quality and reliability in a fast-paced startup

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related degree.
• 3-6 years of experience working on large language model training or post-training (or equivalent PhD).
• Highly proficient in writing LLM training code in PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience with a strongly typed language (e.g., Rust, C++, or Java).
• Strong programming skills and general Computer Science knowledge.
• Bonus: Experience in frontier labs (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, Meta) and deep reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end learned systems combining LLMs and RL to automate financial workflows.
• Design and build large-scale infrastructure for evaluating answer and response quality; feed data back as rewards.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure solutions deliver user value and meet real needs.
• Raise the bar for code quality, reliability, and product velocity; push for technical and interpersonal growth.
