Job summary
AMD Bellevue invites a strategic research and software engineering leader to advance AI, AI for Science, HPC, and energy-efficient computing. You will work with a core team of industry experts across AI models, large-scale systems, hardware, and software to define and demonstrate capabilities from concept to deployment.

Qualifications
- Master's or PhD required in a relevant field.
- Experience with AI model training, large-scale systems, or AI for Science.
- Strong leadership and ability to translate research into production software.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop technologies influencing future AI, HPC, and energy-efficient computing.
- Apply data-driven workload characterization and performance analysis.
- Stay informed on AI model trends, agentic AI, and architectures.
- Design and develop AMD technologies spanning AI model training and inference.
- Define and enable AI workloads on AMD GPUs/CPUs and software platforms.
- Debug issues and explore efficient training, deployment, scaling of AI workloads.
- Develop relationships with AI labs, national labs, universities, and industry partners.
