Job description

We’re looking for a highly creative, deeply technical AI Research Engineer to help us build the next of cognitive AI systems—where thoughts, memory, and reasoning are first-class computational entities.

Join a visionary project exploring new paradigms at the intersection of:

• Latent space traversal and compression
• Generative AI for video
• PyTorch-based custom autoencoders, correlation networks, and hybrid architectures

You’ll work directly with the project founder (experienced in AI and IP strategy) to prototype, iterate, and help bring bold ideas into real working systems. Expect lots of sketchpads, spike experiments, and high agency.

What You’ll Do

• Prototype AI modules (especially in PyTorch) for latent autoencoders, STB decoders, geodesic transition models, and generative zoom
• Collaborate on papers, patents, or demos—whatever helps the ideas take flight
• Experiment with federated caching, VAE variations, and latent generalization strategies

You Might Be a Fit If You…

• Thrive on experimental ML systems and love working with ideas ahead of their time
• Have strong PyTorch fluency and comfort building from scratch
• Think abstractly, but can also test ideas fast and iteratively
• Are curious about video compression and hybrid large models

Bonus Points

• Experience with VAEs, diffusion models, or transformer internals
• Knowledge of variational inference, Lorentzian geometry, or federated learning
